    The coal power plant in Rustersieler Groden in Wilhelmshaven is a newly constructed power plant by GDF Suez which started its operations in full capacity in March, 2014. To ensure environment friendly emissions, it was essential to continuously monitor the emissions from the chimney which required access to the emission release point inside the chimney. SC300K at a shipyard in Split, Croatia

An SC300K hoist was assembled by a jib crane in a shipyard in Split. The hoist was destined for the transportation of personnel and materials with a lifting capacity of 320 kg. It provided the crane's operators with easier access to the crane's control center and was also used by maintenance technicians and service men.

The lower station of the hoist was located around the height of 10 meters and to get to it one needed to use stairs. The upper station was located around 20 meters higher, near the control center. The jib crane was used for building ships – the elements lying on the loading berth were loaded on to a ship being mounted by it. It was made by the German company Kranbaum Eberswalde and assembled by Croatians under German supervision.
