Mast Area Covering Bridge
A Mast Area Covering Bridge (MACB) is an optional device for MCWPs that are equipped with Sliding Deck Extensions(SDE) or other manual extensions.
A bridge enables access to the area between two adjacent extensions when both are ejected. The main purpose is to cover the area behind the mast.
The device is removable and not cause any collisions with equipment that is fixed permanently (anchoring, cable guide etc.). The device is able to keep a load of 120 kg composed of one operator and tools.
A Mast Area Covering Bridge (MACB) is predicted to be used as a movable platform that enables access to the building facade from the area behind the mast. An additional ability is to cover the area behind the mast and prevent accidents caused by parts falling from the building.
