Standard Mast
The standard mast sections of a Mast Climbing Work Platform (MCWP) are robustly designed to endure heavy wear and tear, ensuring stability and longevity. Each section is fully hot-dip galvanized to resist corrosion, enhancing durability.
The sections measure 1.25 meters in length and weigh 82 kg, making them sturdy yet manageable. They can be anchored with ties spaced up to 18 meters apart, providing versatile and secure installation options for various construction environments.
Heavy Duty (HD) Mast
Scanclimber’s HD mast sections (M70) are designed to offer greater tying distance and the ability to support larger overhangs, all while maintaining compatibility with standard mast sections.
The HD sections are stronger, yet retain the same dimensions as our standard sections, and can be integrated seamlessly using an adapter. This combination ensures that the MCWP can handle more demanding jobs without compromising on stability or safety.
Mast Ties
Mast ties are essential components for securing the mast of Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs) to a building or structure. They ensure stability and safety by anchoring the mast at specific intervals, which vary based on the chassis, MCWP model, and mast type.
Maxi Tie
The standard option for most installations.
Vertically Adjustable Maxi Tie
Allows for height adjustments to accommodate uneven surfaces or specific project requirements.
Top Tie
Enables the installation of the MCWP using only a top anchor, ideal for situations where lower ties cannot be used.
Vertically Adjustable Top Anchor
Offers flexibility in positioning the top tie, useful in complex installation scenarios.
HD Tie Console and HD Mast Top Tie
These are designed for heavy-duty mast, providing extra strength, longer tie distance and support for larger platforms and loads.
