Window and facade installation using MCWPs at the Clarion Hotel, Helsinki

The Clarion Hotel Helsinki is a 16-storey building including two towers, the highest being at the height of 78 meters. Scanclimber contributed to this construction project with two SC5000 and one SC6000 mast climbing platforms and a SC1432 construction hoist. Mainly the mast climbing platforms were used for façade work of the hotel. Construction hoist SC1432 was deployed for quick and efficient transportation of material and labor inside the building.

OP-Pohjola building shines in Vallila

The OP Financial Group is Finland’s largest financial services group. This major OP-Pohjola project in Vallila consisted of renovating and building offices for the Group’s use. This project included the employment of 3 000 personnel altogether. The new building covers an area of slightly over 60 000 m2 and the combined floorage is 132 000 m2. Scanclimber had a key role to play in the successful construction of this versatile model, which after completion won a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certificate.

Radisson Blu: Scanclimber restoring highest Latvian hotel

Radisson Blu Hotel Latvia dates back to the early 1960s when the idea emerged to build a 10-storey hotel for a Russian travel agency. This agency was titled as ‘Intourist’ which was responsible for managing the foreigners’ tourism within the Soviet Union. The specifications of the project though kept changing with time from 10 floors to 23 and finally up to 27. With a height of 98 meters, Hotel Latvia is the largest hotel in the country till date.

IB Tower, a unique landmark of Kuala Lumpur, is standing tall

The Petronas Twin Towers are not the only high rise buildings in the city of Kuala Lumpur. There are several other tall buildings in the city which exceed 200 meters – the IB tower will be one of them. The estimated year of completion of the tower was the end of 2014. Upon completion it is the fourth tallest building in Malaysia.
