Hinged Extension
Scanclimber’s Hinged Extension is a unique add-on that combines the best features of both sliding extensions and Sliding Deck Extensions (SDE).
This versatile extension can be manually operated by two people and is capable of being expanded both at ground level and when the platform is erected.
It provides an additional 1.2 meters of reach, fitting seamlessly with side platform sections of 0.8m and 1.6m, effectively extending the platform by 1.6 meters in length.
Designed to support a maximum load of 240 kg, which equates to two persons with tools for each 1.6m section, the Hinged Extension is intended for expanding workspace rather than lifting loads.
It adheres to the same loading tables as standard sliding extensions for the SC5000, SC6000, SC8000 an SC10000 MCWP models, ensuring consistency and safety in operation.
