Edge Extension

Scanclimber’s Edge Extension is a unique sliding extension designed to increase the length of a platform, making it adjustable to match the size of the object being worked on.

This extension allows for a platform length change of up to 2 meters (1 meter per side) and can be securely attached to both the base of a Scanclimber MCWP platform and side platforms measuring 0.8m or 1.6m.

It supports a maximum load of 240 kg, sufficient for two persons with tools, and is not intended for carrying additional loads.

The Edge Extension is compatible with the SC5000, SC6000, SC8000 and SC10000 MCWPs. Users should consider the extension’s own weight and capacity in relation to the total payload capacity of the MCWP to ensure safe operation.
