Zech installing windows at Heidelberg Europaplaz
Around Heidelberg Europlatz main building, Zech had twelve Scanclimber SC8000 mast climbers with glide rails helping in a demanding window and facade element installation. The Zech installers fixed the elements from the mast climbers and used the glide rails to position the heavy window elements accurately.

Funke Medienhäuser built a new headquarters and office buildings in the very center of Essen. Three Scanclimber Triple Hoists handled the vertical logistics of personnel and materials during construction.

Cologne Cathedral – an eternal restoration project
The Roman Catholic Cathedral in Cologne is one of the most visited landmarks in Germany with an average of 20,000 visitors a day. This six-hundred-year-old cathedral was built over a period of 300 years. Restoration work on it continues to this day; an everlasting project with an annual restoration budget of 10 million euros.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is a non-profit organization that promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide. Every year, IPAF awards companies in the powered access industry for the best practices, product innovations and in several other categories called the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) .

Tallest building in Bielefeld, Germany faced with longest mast climber ever
In 2017, Deutsche Telekom vacated a high-rise building in Bielefeld, Germany. Subsequently, the idea was to convert it into a residential student building. The centrally located facility has 18 floors and stands 76m tall or 95.5m when including the building’s telecommunications tower. The Goldbeck Nord GmbH construction company used Scanclimbers SC8000 twin unit mast climber with a full-length capacity of 46.2m for the facade renovation work.

Mast climbers used at the new post office headquarters at Luxembourg
Opposite the Luxembourg railway station, the ‘Centre Postal Gare’ construction work is progressing at full speed. The building of the new official headquarters of the Luxembourg Post is on track for completion in 2022. The facade work started at the beginning of 2021 on the 27,700m2 complex.

Total Cover System with Mast Climbers in Roskilde, Denmark
Weather covers are used in the construction industry to protect buildings against bad weather and to keep structures dry during the construction process. Weather covers are also increasingly used in renovations – for example in roof replacement projects. The growing use of wood in construction, especially in Nordic markets, is also increasing demand. So far, the use of scaffolding to build a weather cover solution has been the norm.

Skanska constructs the largest wooden building in its history
Växjö is the centre of the wood building industry in Sweden. The new town hall and railway station is mostly of wood and glass construction with inclined facades. Skanska used Scanclimber’s inclined mast climbers for the facade installation work.
